Heidegger's Critique of Modernity and Its Revelation

虽然海德格尔很少使用"现代性"概念,但他却是对现代性问题做出深刻反思的思想家之一。海德格尔认为,正是笛卡尔开创的现代形而上学为现代性奠定了基础,现代性的核心的表现形式是"人成为主体"、"世界成为图像"和"哲学成为人类学"。海德格尔启示我们,只有深刻地反思现代形而上学,从而穿破整个现代性的语境,才能深化对现代性的批判。

Though seldom using the concept of modernity, Heidegger is one of the great thinkers who has thought deep about the problem of modernity. Heidegger believed, it was the metaphysics Descartes created that laid the foundation for modernity which has the key expressions as follows: 'man becomes the subject', 'the world becomes picture' and 'philosophy becomes anthropology'. Heidegger reveals that only when one reflects on modern metaphysics deep and goes beyond the context of modernity can one deepen the modernity critique.
