三维地形可视化是三维GIS中的重要内容,本文分析了实现三维地形可视化的主要方法和流程.同时,以岳池县顾县镇为例,将该镇地形图中的高程点文件转换为IMG格式的DEM文件,然后与含有该区域的TM影像图进行叠加,从而实现了三维地形的可视化:并在此基础上对其应用——三维飞行和洪水淹没区的建立及分析进行了研究;最后总结了本次研究中所遇到的问题及所取得的成果.

3D terrain visualization is a research hot spot in present multitudinous domain, This article has taken the Guxin Town of the Yuechi County as an example, converted the elevation file of the town＇s topopagrphie diagram to DEM document in the form of IMG, then overlaid TM image which includes the region,thus realized 3 D terrain visualization. And the writers have conducted the research in this foundation to its application—— 3D flight and established and analyzed the flood submergence area. Finally they have summarized the problem of this research and the achievement which obtains.
