A Study of City Plaza Design

城市文化广场环境设计应赋予广场丰富的文化内涵,营造人们活动与交往的良好场所空间。其处理手法有环境引入手法、雕塑及一些环境艺术设施(包括柱廊、雕柱、浮雕、壁画、小品、旗帜等艺术作品)的运用等。

The design for a city＇s cultural plaza should endow the space with a rich cultural connotation, making it a fine place for communicative activities of the citizens. The ways to achieve these designing purposes are as follows： the situational-setting method; the appliance of sculptures; and the method of surrounding art designs, including colonnade, carved pillars, relief, fresco, opuscula and banners.
