摘要
从信息的观点看,不同形式、内容、范围和层次的社会传播活动一直大量和广泛地存在着,并改变着社会信息的总量、结构和分布状况,最终实现社会信息环境变迁、社会信息资源配置,这是信息社会的特征和要求。传统的传播学研究很少关注传播的信息特征,而借鉴信息科学的理论和方法,可以拓宽传播学研究的视野、理论和方法,还可开辟传播与信息环境优化、复杂社会系统的信息模拟等新的研究领域。反映在传播教育中,应加强信息观念教育,以及信息科学理论和方法、社会计算技术的应用和学习。
From the perspective of information, different form, content, scope and level of social communication activities have been substantial and wide, changing the amount, structure and distribution of social information. Communication activities change social information environment and social information resource allocation, which is the feature and demand of information society. Traditional communication research paid little attention to the information quality of communication. Information science exerts tremendous influences on the communications in terms of vision, theory and methods. Meanwhile, new fields of communication study are explored, for example, how to optimize social information environment, the computer-simulation of complex social system, and so on. In the practice of communication education, we should strengthen education about the concept of information, study and application of theories and methods of information science, social computing technology and new media.
