Consideration of Reconstruction of Primary and Secondary Schools after Earthquake

汶川地震向我们提出了一个迫切需要研究和解决的问题,即如何在震后重建中小学中提高建筑的抗震能力,使学校成为在灾害发生时最安全的地方。在提出震后重建中城镇中小学建筑设计的指导思想之后,对选择建筑结构形式和提高建筑抗震能力提出了新的建议和改进措施。

Wenchuan Earthquake puts to us an urgent problem which needs to be studied and solved： how to improve the earthquake resistance capacity of primary and secondary schools which is in post-earthquake reconstruction so that they could become the safest places during disasters. It is the problem that we are constantly thinking about and researching. After raising the guiding ideologies of the architectural design in post-earthquake reconstruction to primary and secondary schools, the paper provides new recommendations and improvement measures about the choices of building structure and improvement of the construction＇ s earthquake resistance capacity.
