Coordination regulation plays a basic role in subject indexing and it is the important method of multi-way search to improve the specificity of expression of literature subject and to reveal the logical relations between the two subjects. Through the analyzing the common examples of inaccurate coordination problems existing in the process of indexing in medical literature, we can see that the concept coordination as the logic foundation of coordination is the key to make accurate coordination for indexing. It is necessary to improve the coordination indexing quality by mastering the principle of concept coordination and the method to express the logistic relations between subject concepts by using sub-heading.
