The analysis system for, banding chromosomes(SYSTEM), an image analysis software, wasprogrammed. By the SYSTEM the photos of ChineseG banding chromosomes were analyzed. It showedthat the karyotype of the chromosomes of personswas recorded in high speed and efficiency, and thatthe chromosomes of alike ordinal number fromdifferent persons could be compared directly. Thatwould presage, by this kind of the high effectiveoperation, a favorable condition was created for theapplication of the polymorphism of the chromosomesto the parentage diagnosis.
