2010年世博会既是上海城市发展中面临的重大机遇,也是其周边地区城市发展的转折点。世博会对其周边区域的功能结构、产业结构、就业机会、空间结构、城市形象及城市功能等方面产生了积极的影响。充分利用世博会这个平台,协调世博园及其周边地区的发展,确定地区中、长期发展战略,是实现世博园周边地区城市发展的关键。
The 2010 World Expo in Shanghai is an important development opportunity for both the city of Shanghai and the surrounding area. Expo preparations are creating positive changes for the functionality, industrial structure, job opportunities, spatial structure, and urban image of the surrounding area. The development of Expo Park and the surrounding area should be coordinated for both the medium and long time scales.
