The Downfall of a "Canon"——A brief discussion on the changes of ukigumo's position in the history of Japanese literature

文学作品的"典范化"是近代国民国家在文化统合过程中的一个重要侧面;二叶亭四迷的小说《浮云》曾在日本近代文学史上拥有真正意义上的第一部近代小说的盛誉,但在20世纪80年代以后,二叶亭四迷以及他的《浮云》在文学史上的地位发生了变化,对于此种变化的研究有助于我们认识文学作品"典范化"的过程和实质。

The ＂canonization＂ of literary works is an important aspect in the process of cultural synthesis in recent times;futabateisimei＇s novel, ukigumo ,once enjoyed the reputation as the first novel in the real sense in the literary history of Japanese recent times. However,since the 1980s, futabateisimei as well as his ukigumo have undergone some changes with regard to their literary status. The study on such changes will help us understand the process and nature of the ＂canonization＂ of literary works.
