They are detailed and accurate records of personal growth, therefore are the most important base for the cultivation, selection, use and management of the university faculty. The paper conducts a comprehensive analysis of the existing problems in the file management of colleges and universities, finds loopholes in management, establishes a sound system of file management so as to achieve normalization, standardization and institutionalization.
