在"大跃进"的三年时间里,中国妇女运动从最初的积极参与,到中间的调整反思,直至后期的跃进浪潮再起,经历了特殊而重要的历史阶段。"大跃进"运动给妇女发展带来了深远的影响,它既写下了妇女思想解放史的新篇章,也表现了忽视妇女生理特点和缺乏对妇女的劳动保护、造成家务劳动和社会劳动的矛盾,以及妇女界在"妇女是否解放?"等理论问题上的困惑和迷茫等不利影响。

Chinese women had a special experience in ＂Great- Leap- Forward Movement＂. They participated the movement and paid a high cost. Meanwhile, they thought deepty about women＇s issue in the movement. ＂Great Leap- Forward Movement＂ had a deep influence on women＇s development. Though it promoted the women＇s liberation, women＇s physicological characterestics and women＇s labor protection had been ignored. The movement also resulted in the conflict of the homework and the social labor and made women puzzled about some problems, such as ＂have women been liberated？＂
