摘要
本文对环形头垂直磁记录系统的记录/再生过程进行了计算机仿真,结果表明环形头垂直记录系统在中高记录密度域内有很好的性能。文中并就媒体参数对记录/再生过程的影响进行了研究。
The computer simulation on record-readback processes of a ring-head vertical magnetic recording system are studied. It is shown that the system is suitable for moderately high recording density, and the roll-off curve is very flat with a slight rise. The readback amplitude depends on Ms and on Hc as well in a low Hc region, but remains nearly constant in a high Hc region. The magnetization distribution is asymmetrical at long wavelength and gradually appears to be sinusoidal at short wavelength. Asymmetrical magnetization distribution results in readback signal asymmetry, and has a great influence on the signal detection and equalization. The magnetization asymmetry depends on Hc and Ms. The relation curve between asymmetry ration M2/M1 and Ms is given. For a given Hc, a smaller M2/M1 should be chosen to facilitate signal equalization.
