Capacity of UWB System Based on Various Gaussian Pulses

摘要 针对多进制PPM调制UWB系统中的高斯系列脉冲,在多用户和高斯信道的情况下,对系统的信道容量进行了研究和分析,重点对符合FCC室内外频谱规定的两种脉冲进行了分析比较。仿真结果显示,不同的高斯脉冲对系统的信道容量具有一定的影响。在此基础上,给出了影响信道容量的主要因素。 This paper studies the channel capacity with respect to Gaussian serial pulses of M-ary PPM UWB communication systems under status of multiple-access and additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel, especially makes comparison between the two kinds of Gaussian pulses conforming to the FCC regulations. The simulation results demonstrate that the capacity is influenced by various pulses. Then the main factor of influence is given. This conclusion is helpful for the pulse analysis and selection for UWB systems.
