应用玉米线粒体S类质粒对几种CMS的胞质进行分类

CLASSIFICATION OF SEVERAL CYTOPLASMS OF CMS BY S PIASMID-LIKE DNAs IN MITOCHONDRIA OF MAIZE

抽提AN朝(正常胞质),AN朝CMS-T,AN朝CMS-S,AN朝CMS-C四种同核异质的玉米自交系及不育系材料的线粒体DNA作电泳分析,证实了S_1,S_2类质粒为S型细胞质所特有。并以此作为S型细胞质的分类指标,鉴定了齐,石大黄,小黄,大黄等几种未知胞质类型的待测CMS系为S型细胞质。

Mitochondrial DNA (mt DNA) was extracted from AN Chao(N), AN Chao CMS-T,AN Chao CMS-C, AN Chao CMS-S. It was found that only S-type cytoplasm has specificS_1, S_2 plasmid-like DNAs and they can be used as a marker for classification of S-typemale-sterile cytoplasm. On the bassis of the result, the Qi, Shi da huang, Xiao huang,Da huang cytoplasms were assigned to the S-type cytoplasm.
