Advance in role of tumor suppressed by manganese superoxide dismutase

摘要 锰超氧化物歧化酶(manganese superoxide dismutase,MnSOD)是真核细胞内重要的抗氧化酶。它是潜在的新型肿瘤抑制基因,具有抑制肿瘤细胞生长的功能,在肿瘤中表达异常。此文综述了MnSOD抑癌作用及其作为肿瘤基因治疗新靶位的研究进展。 Manganese superoxide dismutase (MnSOD) is the major antioxidant enzyme in eukaryocytes. It is a new potent type of tumor-suppressor gene. It can inhibit the growth of tumor, but its expression is abnormal in tumor. This review briefly highlights recent advance about the role of tumor suppressed and update of gene therapy targeted on MnSOD.
