一种基于TMS320VC5402的指纹识别系统的设计

摘要 在综合考虑目前技术的发展、性能与成本等因素的基础上,本文设计了一个以TI公司TMS320VC5402处理器为核心的指纹识别系统.该系统的硬件由FPS200指纹采集传感器、主控电路、输入通路、输出通路、人机交互设备等部分组成.在DSP的集成开发环境下完成了指纹识别算法应用软件的编写,软件实现了指纹图像的预处理、二值化、细化、特征点提取、比对等各项功能,并重点对指纹的图像预处理指纹特征点提取和匹配等算法进行的研究.实验结果表明该系统识别速度快,误识率和拒识率低,因此具有较强的实用价值与广阔的应用前景. On the basis of comprehensive balancing of the current advancement of technology, system performance and the cost, a novel fingerprint identification system is designed with TMS320VC5402 chip made by TI Corporation as its central processor. The hardware of the system consists of FPS200 fingerprint collecting sensor, main control circuit, input channels, outputchannels, human-computer interactive equipment etc. Under the integrated development environment of DSP, the software is programmed for accomplishing the fingerprint identification algorithm, including the functions of fingerprint image pre-processing, binarization, thinning process, feature extraction, and feature comparison. Especially the feature extraction of the fingerprint image pre-processing and the feature matching algorithm are studied in detail The experimental results show that. the system features high identification speed, low error rate and low reject rate. So there will be a remarkable practical value and broad market prospect of this system.
