拒检运动是一场争取新闻、言论自由的斗争。新闻从诞生起就受到严厉的控制,国民党政府对新闻的严厉控制,引发了新闻出版界人士的不满和抗争。争取新闻言论的自由需要业界的一致行动,需要仁人志士的挺身而出。争取新闻、言论自由道路充满曲折和艰辛。

The Anti - censorship Movement is in nature a struggle for freedom of the press and freedom of speech. The press has been strictly restricted since its birth and the severe control of the press under the KMT government raised the indignation and fight from the people in the press field. Fight for freedom of the press and speech called for the concerted action by the whole line and required that people of lofty ideals put themselves forward in the struggle. However, it proved to be a zigzag and hard way to realze such a goal.
