盐场儒商王和甫

A Confucian Merchant——Wang Hefu in Salt Site

本文作者通过一年时间的查访,以翔实的史料和档案资料,记述了自贡盐场一代儒商王和甫的生平,并考证了王氏水支一族发宗人王向荣乃清咸丰三年自贡首倡"川盐济楚"的盐商,这是首次披露。文中以丰富的史实,考量并论证了活跃于盐场、官场、商场之中,斡旋于军阀、官吏、盐商之间,以诚信宽厚著称于自贡盐场的王和甫,既是王氏水支宗族盐业经营的振兴者,又是地方政治、经济、社会事物的倡导者,亦是自贡各类社会矛盾的调解者,是自贡盐商老四大家族衰微和新四大家族崛起之间的历史时段,即清末民初自贡盐商的代表人物。

Through one year＇s visit, the writer recorded and narrated the whole life of the Confucian merchant-- Wang Hefu in Zigong salt site with full and accurate historical data and information files and the writer also got a textual research that getting rich man Wang Xiangrong of Shuizhi clan of Wang family was the salt merchant who initiated ＂Chuan salt relief Chu＂ in the third year of Xianfeng. This is the first time to be published. The paper with rich historical facts was a description of Wang Hefu who with faith and lenience either was vigorous man of Wang family＇s Shuizhi clan in salt management or an initiator of local politics, economy and social thing.His activity mainly in salt site, official circles and marketplace and he mediated in warlords,burearcracy and salt merchants. He was also the intermediator of various social contradiction in Zigong. He was the representative in the late Qing Dynasty the the early Republic of China, also in the historical period of four old families＇declination and four new families＇initiation.
