The effects of LPG on post-liposuction rehabilitation

目的:观察脂肪抽吸术后2～6周LPG理疗机对术区组织的治疗作用及其安全性。方法:采取信封法对25例行对称肢体吸脂术,术后2周患者的一侧肢体利用LPG理疗机进行每周2次康复治疗共8次,观察LPG对术区组织的作用、安全性及患者的顺应性;另一侧为自身对照。结果:25例受术者除3例(12%)因故未能全程完成治疗外,其余全部接受并完成治疗且无不良反应,安全性及顺应性良好。治疗4周,治疗肢体与自身对照侧比较,自我评估疗效及美学满意度。肢体疼痛、肿胀、皮肤瘀斑及皮下硬结明显减轻或消失。临床评估治疗4周B超检查肢体水肿、皮下硬结、疼痛、皮肤瘀斑有统计学差异(P<0.05)。肢体围度变化、B超检查肢体脂肪厚度,肢体皮肤平整及松弛度无统计学差异(P>0.05)。结论:LPG理疗机对脂肪抽吸术后的康复治疗是安全有效的辅助方法。

Objective The safety and effects of the LPG therapy on rehabilitation of surgical areas in post-liposuction patients were evaluated. Methods 25 patients were randomly selected 2 -6 weeks after the body symmetrical liposuction was performed. One of the upper and lower arms and legs （randomly selected） were treated with the LPG therapy twice a week with a total of eight sessions, while the other ones were left to heal naturally, serving as control. The therapeutic effects and safety on tissues in the operated regions were evaluated. The patients＂ satisfaction with the LPG therapy was also investigated. Results With the exception of 3 patients （12%） who did not complete the therapy, all other 22 patients completed the therapy without adverse effects observed. Clinical evaluation was performed 4 weeks post-tiposuction based on limb edema levels, occurrence of subcutaneous scleroma, pain and skin ecchymosis, all of which were detected by ultrasound and showed statistical significance compared with the control （P〈0.05）; while limb fat thickness, perimeter meterage, skin smooth and relaxation were statistically insignificant （P〉0.05）. Patients were satisfied with effects of therapy and aesthetics. Limb pain and swelling, subcutaneous scleroma and skin ecchymosis either decreased or disappeared. Conclusion The LPG therapy apparatus is a safe and reliable auxiliary method for post-liposuction rehabilitation.
