摘要
以乒乓球为基本单元,研究了3种结构的大变形压缩力学性能:乒乓球单球自由压缩、被胶结于两个平行板间的乒乓球的压缩和胶结联接的乒乓球列阵的压缩力学行为.发现第1种情况压缩时应力-应变曲线变化平缓,上下两个压缩面变形基本为对称变形;第2种情况压缩时上下胶块尺寸的微小差别会导致上下变形不对称;第3种情况压缩时发现相邻上下两球在胶结处的变形基本对称.这些发现对于研究球壳多胞超轻质结构的球壳单元联接方法和工艺具有指导意义.
Taking the ping-pong ball as the basic cell, the mechanical behavior of large deformation of three structures -- compression of the ping-pong ball glued toget glued together is studied. It is her as wi ingle ping-pong ball between two parallel plates, compression of the parallel plates and compression of the ping-pong arrays found that the first case gives a smooth stress-strain curve, the second one gives un-symmetric deformation if the glued size is only a bit different, and the third one gives basically a symmetric deformation of the neighboring balls. These findings are of guiding significance to the linking method and processing of the super-lightweight cellular structures made of hollow thin-walled spheres.
