湖北省自然地带性与非地带性问题研究

ON THE ZONALITY AND AZONALITY OF THE PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT OF HUBEI PROVINCE

本文从湖北省自然区划研究的实际情况出发,在总结前人经验的基础上,运用判别分析、■类分析等数量研究方法,对湖北省自然地带性与非地带性问题进行了探讨;并提出了对比度的概念,以此论证湖北省自然区划的等级单位系统和具体方案。

Comprehensive physical regionalization is an effort to identify differentiation among different areas on the earth surface and document the similarities within the same area. The study of comprehensive physical regionalization in Hubei have been carried out since 1950's and a few sketch map of Habei comprehensive physical regionalization have been put forward. However, there are different lueas on the zonality and azonality of the physical environment of Hubei in the published sketch maps. In order to master the zonality and azonality, the authors have studied relative information and make out the physical zones and azonal regions again by mathematical methods. By calculating the differentiational index, the authors point out that azonality dominents the areal differentiation of Hubei physival environment and divided H(?)ci into three regions and twelve subreg(?); physical zone is the background (?)cal differentiation in Hubei, therefore ■ey need not to be draw out in this ■ incial regionalization.
