On Greek Loanwords in Ancient Uygur Documents

文章结合希腊人在中亚活动的历史背景,通过查阅古代维吾尔文献,分析了这些文献中的bamuq,bz,didim,nom四个希腊语借词情况,提出这可能是当时东西方文化交流的一些重要佐证。

Based on the historical setting of Greek＇s activities in Central Asia, the article analyses the four loanwords from Greek in the documents which the authors have gone through and proposes that it can be the evidence to prove the cultural communication between the east and the west.
