The therapies for pulmonary disease include promoting and descending tung-qi, removing heat from the lung and relieving asthma, warming the lung to reduce watery phlegm, sending down lung-qi and resolving the phlegm, moistening the lung and resolving the phlegm, clearing away the dissolving phlegm, replenishing and restoring the lung-qi, astringing the lung-qi and nourishing the lung-yin.
