2008 witnesses the 60th anniversary of the foundation of World Health Organization (WHO) and the 30th anniversary of the announcement of Almaty Declaration. Sponsored by World Health Organization, hosted by China Ministry of Health and China State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and co-organized by WFAS, WSMI, FIP and WFC, '2008 WHO Congress on Traditional Medicine' will be held in Beijing on 7-9 November 2008, aimed at enhancing the role of traditional medicine, reviewing the achievements made by assembly members in this field, and promoting assembly countries to integrate traditional medicine into their national medical insurance system,
