摘要
隐喻是语言中普遍存在的现象。利用隐喻理论来解释词汇意义的变化发展过程及词汇意义之间的相互关系,可以促进外语学习者对外语词汇的理解和掌握,从而做到灵活的使用外语词汇。
Metaphor is the metaphorical process of thinking that lies behind everyday language and structures our conceptual system. The application of metaphor in vocabulary teaching and learning can in a degree help students to achieve proficiency in learning foreign language vocabulary and use them flexibly.
