Cooperation among GD, HK and Macao: Important Choice for System Innovation of Higher Education in GD

高等教育改革是一个永恒的主题。本文分析了近30年来广东高等教育体制改革的四次有益探索,提出了粤港澳合作是新时期广东高等教育体制改革新突破口的观点;并结合粤港澳高等教育发展的实际分析了三地加强高等教育合作的必要性和可行性;认为粤港澳高等教育合作应当由目前的自发松散状态上升到制度化层面,以形成广东高等教育体制创新的新突破。

The reform of higher education is an eternal theme. After analyzing the four useful explorations of system reform of higher education in GD in the past 30 years, this paper proposes that the cooperation among GD, HK and Macao should become the new breakthrough for system reform of higher education in GD in the new era. Then, based on the actual development of higher education, it analyzes the necessity and feasibility of this kind of cooperation. At last, it suggests that the cooperation among GD, HK and Macao should rise to an institutionalized level from the current spontaneous state, which will become the new breakthrough for system innovation of higher education in GD.
