摘要
文中为实现Ka频段波导馈源系统小型化,讨论了一种介质插片双频圆极化器的小型化方法,提出了一种通过改变介质插片有效介电常数从而有效缩短原极化器尺寸的方法。这种圆极化器结构简单,便于加工和调试。进行了仿真设计,制作了实物并进行了测试。小型化圆极化器实测与仿真结果吻合较好:带内驻波<1.2、插入损耗<0.2dB、两正交线极化波相位差为90°±2°。
To reduce the size of the waveguide feed system in the Ka band, a study is made of the method for achieving a compact circular polarizer with a dielectric septum inserted in circular waveguide operating in dual band. A new method of changing the relative permittivity of the dielectric septum to shorten the polarizer effectively is proposed. Polarizers of this kind have the advantages of simple structure and easy manufacturing and testing. The polarizer is designed and manufactured, and the measured results agree well with the simulated ones : VSWR 〈 1.2, insertion loss 〈 0. 2 dB, and phase difference is 90°±2°.
