对高职院校应用英语教学改革的几点思考

On Applied English Teaching Reform in Higher Vocational Colleges

我省高职院校应用英语的教学质量远远滞后于经济发展的需求,整体现状令人堪忧。如何贯彻落实科学发展观,按照市场需求,进行必要的教学改革,是许多教育界人士十分关注的要点。笔者通过实地走访和调查研究,根据我省高职人才培养在应用英语教学方面存在的主问题,提出了六项具体培养措施,以推进高职院校的应用英语教学改革。

The teaching quality of applied English in higher vocational colleges in our province has remained a far cry from economic development, greatly frustrating the fold. How to solve the problem so as to make it more closely marketoriented has been staying the focus of attention in the educational circle. Our field investigation and in-house research of the existing problems concerned has resulted in six specific measures, awaiting something still better.
