The vertical grinder MK8080a with Fanuc 180i -MB CNC system can be used for grinding inner circle, top circle, cam and end plane. So, the turret of the grinder should be with such functions as turning con tinuously, positioning and the interpolation with other axes. This article introduces the design of the control program for the axis PMC of the turret under Fanuc 180i.
