摘要
μ子寿命是高能物理领域一个可以精确推算,并能通过实验观测的物理量。在一个完整的μ子寿命测量实验中,涵盖了高能物理理论基础、高能粒子探测器、相关电子学和数据处理方法等方面的知识和一整套高能物理实验方法与工程技术。该文介绍了一套宇宙线仙子寿命测量实验装置的组建,并对该实验装置设置了开放性实验课程,对进行高能物理实验创造性人才培养的可行性和具体实施方法进行了探讨。
Muon lifetime is one of the physics quantities that can be either theoretically accurately calculated or experimentally observed in high energy physics. A full muon lifetime experiment covers almost all experimental methods and technologies applied in a modem high energy physic experiment, such as the fundamental theory, applied particle detectors, nuclear electronics, and data processing methods. A cosmic muon lifetime measurement equipment is presented. Based on this equipment, the feasibility and plan to open an experiment course for cultivation of creative talent for high energy physics experiment are also discussed.
