On the Inherent Relation between the Lofty Characters of Old Revolutionaries and the Construction of the Nucleus Socialist Value System

党的十七大报告提出建设社会主义核心价值体系,这必将增强社会主义意识形态的凝聚性、示范性、激励性。老一辈无产阶级革命家的宽广胸怀和优秀品格与构建社会主义核心价值体系之间有着密切的内在联系。党员尤其是领导干部应自觉学习老一辈革命家的崇高品格,在践行社会主义核心价值体系中发挥应有的作用。

The report of the 17^th conference of CPC put forward the construction of nuclear socialist value system, which will inevitably increase the agglomeration, demonstration and stimulation of socialist ideology. There exists the inherent relation between the excellent characters of old revolutionaries and the construction of nucleus socialist values. All the party members, especially the cadres should be conscious enough that they should study the lofty morals of the old revolutionaries and play a role in constructing the value system.
