Constituting the system: the only way to a harmonious society

和谐社会是我国新一代领导集体提出的治国理念。和谐社会在政治制度建设方面同宪政存在着内在的精神契合:宪政能保证社会的秩序稳定,能够平衡权力,提倡尊重与保护人权。因此,完善宪政有利于促进和谐社会的构建。

A harmonious society is a concept of governing put forth by the new leadership of China. Harmonious society respond to the constitution in regard with the political system. Constitution guarantees social stability and balances power. It promotes respect for as well as protection of human rights, which therefore is benefitial to the building of a harmonious society.
