This is a review on the development of analysis of rocks and minerals in China from June 2006 to May ：2008. It contains following subjects： monographs and conference; pretreatment of sample; titrimetry and gravimetry; spetrophotometry; atomic spectrometry; electrochemical analysis; X-ray fluorenscence spectrometry; inductively cou- pled plasma mass spectrometry and coupling techniques; chemical phase analysis and speciation analysis; quality controlling and standard reference materials, standard methods. A total of 462 references arecited.
