University students＇ individuality model acts as one of the focuses of ideological and political education. Laying emphasis on individuality model in ideological and political education in the new era is a necessity for changing the traditional model of education, and a trend in which university students can enhance their independence in socialist market economy, and an objective requirement of the development of ideological and political education itself. The crucial way to strengthen university students＇ individuality model in ideological and political education can raise students＇ awareness of their subjectivity, stimulate their motivations, penetrate into their daily life, and deepen the consciousness of social responsibility on the part of university students.
