摘要
随着社会经济的发展,传统的森林资源信息调查方法因存在许多局限性而难以满足现代林业发展的需要。RS、GIS技术的发展与应用,一方面可以弥补传统调查方法的不足;另一方面作为一项新技术手段,在森林资源监测、野生动物调查、植被调查、病虫害预报、林火信息管理、林业专题图编制和森林经营管理等方面将发挥重要的作用。森林资源信息的提取和制图依赖于大量空间数据的有效处理,本文探讨了ARC/INFO7.0.1和ARCVIEW3.0地理信息系统在森林资源信息提取、分析及制图等方面的技术方法。
With the advancement of social economy, conventional methodology for forest resource survey fails to meet the requirements of the development of modern forestry due to its inherent limitations. The development and application of remote sensing (RS), and geographic information system (GIS), can overcome the shortcomings of the conventional methods. As a new system of methodology, the technology can also be applied to forest monitoring, wild life and vegetation survey, pest and forest disease prediction, fire information management, forest mapping, and forest resource management. Information of forest resources is powerful impetus to improve the productive forces and economic development of forestry, also is the key to realize forestry sustainable development. Extraction and charting of forest resources information depends on effective process to enormous spatial data. The theme made inquiries about the technique of ARC/INFO 7.0. 1 and ARCVIEW 3.0 in the extraction and charting of forest resources information.
