"New Urbanism" And The Community Planning

"新城市主义"是90年代以后西方城市规划领域中兴起的一个重要流派,其设计思想和作品已对当今美国新型社区的建立和城市机理的重构产生了一定的影响。本文首先引介了该思想的精华部分,分析总结了我国社区建设中存在的问题,在此基础上指出"新城市主义"对我国社区建设的指导作用。

＂New Urbanism＂ is an important genre in the field of urban planning which was traceable from Western countries. Its design ideas and works have already had some impacts on the contemporary new communities and the reconstruction of cities in United States. Firstly the paper introduce the the essence of the idea, then sum up the disadvantages of our country＇ s communities, on this basis advance the importance of ＂New Urbanism＂ in guiding the community construction.
