Application of information technology has achieved fruitful result but information safety situation is unoptimistic, h is crucial of secure network and information safety for healthy development of water information system. By summarizing the experiences of early stage of information safety management, objectives and tasks of safeguarding water network and information are put forward, and direction of future work is specified.
