学生会是在学校党委领导和团委指导下,依据国家法律法规和学校的规章制度,独立自主开展活动的基层学生组织。现行高校学生会组织的工作内容覆盖面越来越广,在诸多方面都发挥着积极的作用,但同时也存在着一些不足。因此,要探索新的工作思路,创建新的工作及服务模式,让学生会组织参与到学生的教育管理、学校的教学常规管理和社会实践中去,从而使其发挥更大的作用。
