The article describes the significance of mining and construction of this modem and large -size iron mine. Some advanced technical processes, equipment and new methods and measures have been adopted in the design and construction thus to improve and guarantee the economic benefit. By analyzing and comparing labor productivity, capital investment, operation cost and other parameters with those of similar domestic mines, it further indicates preliminary results made after the completion of the project and gives useful recommendations.
