邓小平从中国社会主义初级阶段的实际出发,以"三个有利于",特别是实现最广大人民的根本利益为目的,以追求经济和社会、物质文明和精神文明协调发展为内涵,揭示了当代中国发展的本质,架构了中国发展分三步走,东西部协调发展,一部分人先富起来、最终实现共同富裕的中国特色社会主义的发展蓝图。邓小平的发展观是以马克思主义基本原理为指导的科学发展观,蕴涵着丰富的马克思主义哲学的基本思想。
