As the base of every subject, mathematics is considered the key to science. The development of modem mathematics stimulates the curriculum advancement of college engineering mathematics, which takes the charge of the disposition and quality cultivation for engineering college students. This paper analyzes the engineering mathematics from the perspective of modem mathematics. It provides a new method with six dimensions represented to convey its meanings.
