Analysis and Discussion on Science and Technology Diplomacy of China

改革开放以来,"经济外交"日益成为中国外交工作的重要组成部分,而"科技外交"却未受到应有的重视,这与目前国际上"科技政治化"倾向日趋严重的局面不相适应。近年来,中国有关方面已深刻认识到科技外交的战略作用,逐步推动其走向深入,但由于受认识不足及严峻的国际环境的影响,中国科技外交还存在较多问题,需要通过一系列相应的政策措施来加以解决。

Since the reform and opening up in China,＂ economic diplomacy＇has become one of the most important components of China＇ s diplomatic jobs. However, little attention is paid to ＂science and technology diplomacy＇which is incompatible with the current international situation that the tendency of ＂science and technology politicalization＂ is becoming worse and worse. In recent years, relative authorities in China have realized the strategic function of science and technology diplomacy, and while they are trying to push its development, the diplomacy still has many problems due to the lack of profound understanding and the influence of tough international environment. Therefore, corresponding countermeasures should be taken to solve the problems.
