摄影术的发明对于视觉文化(visual culture)图景而言,其影响力无疑是巨大的。而对于艺术博物馆里的藏品而言,其影响力也是具有震撼性的,它改变了观者对于艺术作品的观感和看法,甚至产生了一些意想不到的后果。本文将艺术博物馆的发展分为"前摄影博物馆"(pre-photographic museum)及"后摄影博物馆"(post-photographic museum)分别进行论述。

The invention of photography has produced a huge impact on the ‘visual culture’.This is also true to the collections conserved in art museums,for it has altered the impressions that art works have left upon the viewers,and some unexpected results may occur as well.With solid and sufficient evidence,this paper intends to divide the development of art museums into two phases,‘pre-photographic museum’ and ‘post-photographic museum’,and it is hoped that this idea will shed a new light on museum study.
