Based on the research of the type of vehicle pollution, formation mechanism, characteristics and the harm to ecological environment, the article points out the future development trend of the auto industry, namely developing new energy-saving and environmental protection cars. Under the background of construction of a resource-saving and environment-friendly society initiated by government, it is put forward that the development and promotion of energy saving and environmental protection automotive products should be strengthened, and pollution-resistant vegetations should be planted concurrently to reduce the environmental pollution caused by automobilism.
