摘要
通过问卷调查,利用描述性统计和皮尔逊相关系数分析,探索大学生的英语学习焦虑与学习成绩之间的关系,同时挖掘产生焦虑的根源,并提出一些减轻焦虑的策略。笔者通过实证研究,证明了学生的英语学习成绩确实与学生的学习焦虑存在显著的负相关。研究还发现:男生的焦虑指数高于女生,来自农村的大学生的焦虑指数高于来自城市的学生,但男、女生的成绩与焦虑并无显著性相关,不同生源学生的成绩与外语学习焦虑也不存在显著性相关。
Through questionnaire, the present study investigates the correlation between students' English language anxiety and their achievement in English learning with the help of descriptive statistics and correlation analysis. The study results show that most of the students in Guilin University of Technology experience language learning anxiety at different levels and there is significant negative correlation between students' anxiety and their academic achievement. Knowing some causes of the anxiety, the author supplies some practical strategies to reduce students' language learning anxiety.
