机械生长因子研究进展
摘要
胰岛素样生长因子(IGF)最初被认为是一种由肝脏分泌的促生长因子,介导生长激素(GH)的作用,调节和诱导组织生长和发育。然而,后来人们发现IGF除了能在肝脏产生外,其他组织如肌肉也能通过自分泌或旁分泌的形式产生,并且在许多方面独立于GH而发挥作用。现在普遍认为IGF能产生几种具有不同功能和不同受体的剪接异构体。这些异构体中一种与肝脏产生的系统型IGF—IEa相同,另一种其mRNA仅在肌肉受到机械刺激后才可检测到,故称为“机械生长因子”(mechano growth factor,MGF)。
