中国近代图书馆学理论中的"动静说",具有深厚的历史来源和当时社会文化思潮的来源。它以图书馆特征和功能出发,依据中西文化思想的区别,以达到互相取长补短、创建一种具有鲜明特色的新文化之目的。因此,深入研究"动静说",同样具有重要的现实意义。
