摘要本文对百年前著名建筑师和规划师伯莱姆主持编制的1909年《芝加哥规划》进行了解读,介绍了该规划的主要内容,探寻了规划编制的背景以及围绕该规划的主要争议,分析了该规划的实施成效,最后总结了该规划对于当前中国城市总体规划编制的借鉴意义。 This paper is an interpretation of the Plan of Chicago which was presided over by Daniel Burnham, a distinguished architect and planner 100 years ago. Generalizing the main content of the masterpiece, exploring the background and controversies on the Plan, speculating its implementation and profound influence to the great city, this paper concludes with the Plan＇ s modern enlightenment to China＇ s urban comprehensive planning.
