Sheng Cong-wen＇s novels are full of the appreciation of good aspects of human nature. This article, form the images of men and women, middle-aged and elderly people, bandits and prostitutes, in western Hu＇nan, tries to probe into the beauty of human nature in Shen＇s novels.
