党的十六届六中全会的召开具有十分重要的意义,会议审议通过的《决定》中明确提出,"以党内和谐促进社会和谐",这指明了党与社会的关系,党内和谐与社会和谐的关系。社会的和谐离不开党,离不开和谐的党。以党内和谐促进社会和谐具有必要性和重要性。

The Sixth Plenum of the 16th CPC Central Committee is very important. The decision passed in that meeting ＂The Promotion of Harmonious Society by the Building of Harmonious CPC＂, which indicates the relationships both between the CPC and society in China and a harmonious party and a harmonious society. A harmonious society can not be achieved with out CPC especially a harmonious CPC in China. So the task is with great importance and significance. In the process of the modernization of the socialism, there are some points we must pay attention to when we do the task.
